Although the National Academy of Sciences exhibition, Sagehen Creek: A Sierra Proving Ground, was canceled due to COVID-19 the Cultural Programs team at the Academy, alone side Willam Fox and folks at Sagehen Creek Field Station put together this wonderful e-catalogue for the exhibition. I felt so honored to be among such amazing artists! Check out the e-catalog here… sagehencatalogue

News from Lynden Residency…

Excited to be in Day 3 of a residency at the Lynden Sculpture Garden in Milwaukee! Thanks to Joseph Mougel and Cynthia Brinich-Langlois (and baby Yvette!) for arranging it for us!

Water keeps leaking into my brain (pun intended). The work I create here over the next couple of years (I’ll be traveling back and forth) will most likely be consumed by it.

Remembering the Donkey Gallery

As I was going through flat files trying to make room for some new drawings, I ran across these old Donkey Journals. The Donkey Gallery marks the heyday of art in Albuquerque, at least for me. In an old shop in Barelas, David Leigh, Larry Bob Phillips and Sherlock Terry started something that was magical for its run. Thanks to the innovative art, community building and best openings ever!
